Year-Round Teams & Programs:
Ambassadors
The welcoming arm of the Chamber! Attend ribbon cuttings and events as needed and host the New Member Mixers. Learn more about our ambassadors here.
Ankeny Young Professionals
AYP is a group of young professionals that reside, work, or have a special interest in the Ankeny area. AYP gathers for professional development opportunities, networking, giving back to the community, and socializing! Click Here to get involved with AYP.
Governmental Relations
This group conducts candidate forums and legislative briefings. They meet the fourth Monday of every other month at noon.
Annual Event Teams:
Business Illumination Series
Assist in organizing and coordinating Chamber Membership Luncheons as needed.
Ankeny Celebrates Education
Organize the yearly celebration for all faculty and staff of the Ankeny area schools.
Fall & Spring Golf Outings
This committee plans the golf outings held in summer and fall. Meets approximately two times prior to event date.
SummerFest/Sub-Committees
Be a part the Ankeny SummerFest organizational committee which meets beginning in January up to the event. Sub-committees include marketing, events and site preparation. Ankeny SummerFest is held in July. Click Here to get more information about SummerFest opportunities.
Corks and Caps
Iowa Wine & Craft Beer Festival – join the committee to coordinate our Iowa wine and craft beer public event. Meets June through September as needed.
Discover Ankeny
Join the team that coordinates bringing the Chamber’s food, beverage, and service vendors together for one night to share their business with Chamber members and the public.
Total Resource Campaign
The Chamber holds a Total Resource Campaign (TRC) for six weeks beginning in late January through mid-March. This all-volunteer campaign attracts new members and secures business sponsors for Chamber programs, events, and more.
